Dr. Pat Taylor is a Family Medicine physician, Hospitalist, and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. He completed his bachelors in Physiology and Developmental Biology at Brigham Young University, where he played on the National Championship rugby team. He then attended University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill School of Medicine on full academic scholarship. He completed his family medicine residency at University of Utah, where he focused on obesity medicine, men’s health, and menopausal women's health. His research focused on weight management, weight bias, and BMI associated outcomes after joint replacement. Dr. Taylor has a passion for fitness, longevity, and lifestyle modifications; having personally lost 100 pounds after having Cushing’s syndrome and chemotherapy. He previously ran an online weight loss coaching program, and currently continues to share his fitness journey as a busy dad of 6 on social media. In his leisure time, he enjoys golfing, trying new restaurants and patisseries, and spending time with his fiancé and 6 children.
